Ross F. Hunt, Jr. joined Larson & Taylor in 1967 after working briefly in corporate patent practice and he became a partner in 1970. He earned his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia, and his law degree from George Washington University Law School. Ross also served as a patent examiner for four years.
His experience is primarily in the fields of electronic, electrical, electromechanical inventions, but he has also prepared and prosecuted a number of applications relating to telecommunications and computer networking. Although carrying a heavy prosecution docket, Ross also spends a good deal of his time counseling clients on various IP matters, preparing infringement and validity opinions, and representing his clients in IP litigation.
