WILLIAM E. JACKSON

William E. Jackson joined Larson & Taylor in 1983 after serving as a Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, from 1971 to 1976. He also served as a Patent Examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from 1963 to 1965, and in 1969- 1970 was the Patent Law Clerk at the U.S. Claims Court (Trial Division) in Washington, D.C. He became a partner in 1985.

He is a member of the District of Columbia and West Virginia Bars, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and other professional organizations.

He received his B.S. degree in Metallurgical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, his J.D. degree with honors and his Master of Law degree from George Washington University Law School.

His principal areas of practice include litigation and counseling in patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
